The calibre we advise on

Experience matters when the asset is exceptional. From 24 to 100 metres — long-range explorers to purebred sailing yachts — we counsel across the full spectrum of the market.

Across the
full spectrum.

Independent representation from initial search through negotiation, the purchase agreement, survey and completion — the full brokerage process, aligned to the buyer alone. We hold no listings; the vessels here illustrate the calibre we assess.

The Motor Yacht

Size range: 78′ / 24 metres – 330′+ / 100 metres length overall.

New and used motor yachts, 100–7,000 gross tons. Commercial or private, superyachts and megayachts around the world. Sourcing on- and off-market yachts for discerning new buyers and experienced owners.

We focus on the budget envelope and the utility of the owner's requirements. Where do you want to go? With whom? And what to do when you get there?

The motor yacht's characteristics are built up layer by layer — shipyard builder, year of delivery, size, guest cabins, gross tonnage, amenities and maintenance cycle.

The Sailing Yacht

We understand the difference in sailing. The art of sailing is the sport of harnessing the wind for performance — not just engines on and cruise A to B. It is the journey, not just the destination. Sailing yachts hold a lot of romance, energy and knowledge. The silhouette of a sailing yacht on the horizon is a thing of beauty; to be on board is pure joy.

Sailing yachts come in all shapes and sizes, for different budgets and different missions. Some are sport-orientated, others heavier long-range cruisers with multiple guest areas. Spirit of tradition, new maxi design, sloop, gaff-rigged schooner, yawl, 3DL, EC6, Dyneema soft shackles — we speak the language at work and on our holidays.

The Explorer Yacht

An over-used term, often misused for shifting the location of the pilot house on the hull. An explorer yacht, large or small, must be fit for purpose. What is the mission? Enlarged tanks giving longer range and autonomy are important. What are you going to do when you get where you're going? You need to carry robust tenders, fishing gear, other watersports or scuba equipment and compressors, garbage refrigeration, larger galley pantries, wine cellar and freezer options for two to three weeks away from provisioning for you and your crew. How many anchors do you have?

The yacht will go to port to refuel up against black tractor tyres in between fishing boats — not smooth velvet-covered fenders. These real-world considerations take a toll on a polished hull and your storage capacities.

Do you have a workshop or tool bench to repair things while in the Pacific? Are you carrying enough spares? Do you have redundant systems, so that pumps work when one has blown out? Motorbikes, mountain bikes, skis? It's supposed to be fun. Planning ahead helps.

We advise across the world's leading yards — Feadship, Benetti, Heesen, Amels and Holland Jachtbouw among them — as well as new-construction projects and one-off custom builds.
